A total of 20,000 pallets were repaired in 2023 by social economy companies.

A new partner for WEEE

The Heppner Group has chosen Printerre to recycle its WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). A player in the circular economy, Printerre specialises in printer refurbishing, printing system maintenance, and the sale of computer consumables and printers. It is an adapted company, and more than 80% of its workforce have some kind of disability. Printerre will help Heppner recycle about 8 tonnes of WEEE every year.

Bio-NGV

15% of the routes covered with Heppner vehicles use NGV, a fuel that enables reductions up to 85% in CO2 emissions. While NGV is a fossil fuel, bio-NGV is derived from the methanisation of various organic wastes, sometimes combined: household waste, sludge from wastewater treatment plants, agricultural products, grass clippings, and waste from the food industry and institutional catering. Non-food energy crops (NFEC), identified by species and used to enrich the soil without leaving it exposed, can also be used as input in an agricultural methanisation unit.
